Our treatments always begin with an in-depth consultation. Here, a dental surgeon will examine your mouth and discuss the options that are available to you for dental implants. Suitability for this treatment is based on things like the strength of your jawbone, gum disease, and other factors.

Treatment is usually done under local anaesthetic, though you can choose to be fully sedated. The implantologist will drill holes to crate space for one part of the implant–that is, the titanium post which integrates into your jaw.

After this treatment, you will have a recovery period. Your dentist wil discuss everything you need to do here before the next steps, such as resting, and cleaning the cap placed on your implant.

The healing period after this treatment typically lasts around 3-6 months. Once your healing is complete, you will return for a digital scan of your mouth so that we can begin the process of creating your permanent crown or bridge.
